Workplace
Workplace is a communication tool that provides easy connections among all members of your company, fostering collaboration even when individuals are working remotely.
You must have an account in Workplace.
1 Go to Dashboard > Marketplace > SSO Integrations.
2 Select Workplace from the list.
3 You'll land on the overview page, with an additional tab: Installation (providing a step-by-step installation guide).
4 Click on INSTALL.
5 Provide a Name, and for the Entity ID, go to your Workplace Dashboard.
6 Click on the Admin Panel > Security.
7 Click on the Authentication tab.
8 In the SSO Providers section, click on Add new SSO Provider.
9 Copy the Audience URL and ACS URL to your clipboard.
10 Return to your dashboard, paste the Audience URL in Entity ID. and ACS URL.
11 Once the configurations are provided, click on INSTALL.
12 To enable Workplace SSO login, go to Applications > SSO, and click on the created Workplace SSO.
13 Click on Metadata, where the list of endpoints for the particular SSO will be available. Copy the Entity ID.
14 Switch to Workplace, paste the Entity ID in SAML issuer URL.
15 Return to your dashboard, copy the Login Endpoint.
16 Switch to Workplace, paste the Login Endpoint in SAML URL.
17 Return to your dashboard, copy the X509 certificate.
18 Switch to Workplace, paste the X509 certificate in SAML certificate.
19 Return to your dashboard, assign a user with Workplace role. To do so, navigate to Users or Workspace Admins, click on the user you want to assign the role.
20 You will be taken to the user's Details tab, click on Roles & Groups.
21 Select List View and click on + ADD ROLE.
22 The available roles will appear; select sso-workplace-Workplace-role
and click on ADD ROLES.
23 Switch to Workplace, scroll down and click on Test SSO.
24 You will taken to the SSO Authenticated page. Click on Close window.
25 Click on Save changes.
26 The SSO Provider will be configured.
27 Under Log in, check Single-sign on (SSO).
28 Provide the name for SSO provider, click on Save changes.
29 Click on People from the left-hand's menu.
30 Click on More options for your user.
31 Click on Edit person's details.
32 Click on the edit icon for Password.
33 Use the Authentication method as SSO.
34 Click on Save.
35 Return to your dashboard to verify whether SSO has been successfully enabled, go to Applications > SSO, click on SSO DASHBOARD button.
36 The Workplace SSO will be enabled successfully.
