Logs

The Audit Logs functions as a comprehensive record of all actions performed outside the Workspace, providing detailed information. This includes email notifications, logins, and other significant events.

This page allows users to view, search, and analyze logs to ensure transparency, accountability, and security within the Workspace.

Some of the things you can analyze with these Logs are:

  • View transaction made by a particular user.

  • Search for specific logs by entering relevant details.

  • Check the time of every event performed.

To access the logs, ensure that the logs are enabled.


Enable Logs

1 Navigate to Workspace, and click on Audit.

2 In the Logs page, click on the SETTINGS button located at the top right corner, toggle the Enable button, and then click on SAVE button.

3 Once the logs are enabled, all events are recorded in the database, making them accessible for review.


View Logs

If a transaction is executed through a Sandbox application, the Sandbox app ID will be displayed. For transactions done through the Live mode applications, the corresponding Live mode app ID will be shown.

TimeThis indicates the timestamp or moment when each action occurred, providing a chronological order of events.
Event TypeThis field specifies the nature or category of each action, helping understand what type of activity took place.
ApplicationThis section identifies the specific application involved in the recorded action, enabling to pinpoint which part of the workspace was affected.
UserIt displays the username or user identifier associated with the individual who initiated the action, allowing for easy tracking.
IP AddressThis shows the Internet Protocol (IP) address from which the action originated, aiding in security and auditing by revealing the source of the action.

Get Logs

1 To retrieve a specific log, enter the relevant details into the provided fields and specify the number of days you want to view. For example, if you enter 7 days, the logs from the last 7 days will be displayed.

ApplicationChoose the application for which you want to fetch the logs.
UserSelect the user for whom you want to retrieve the log information.

2 Provide the details and click on the FILTER button.

3 To reset the fields and filters, simply click on the RESET button.
