Authentication
The authentication tab will consist of all authentication flows that can be enabled accordingly.
Authentication is not possible for Machine to Machine.
Here's how you view
1 Go to Dashboard > Applications.
2 Click on the application you wish to view.
3 Click on Authentication.
4 To view all the configuration, enable Override Authentication, this will allow you to override the authentication settings specific to this client. When activated, the client's authentication configurations will take precedence over the default settings defined at the workspace level. This gives you the flexibility to customize authentication requirements for this particular client independently.
Onboarding
Attribute | Description |
---|---|
User registration | This setting allows you to enable or disable the registration page for new users. If enabled, a link for registration will be displayed on the login page, providing users with the option to register for an account. |
Invite only | If enabled, the onboarding configurations under Workspace settings will be executed. |
Onboarding Flow | You can select the preferred / custom onboarding flow to be used for browser authentication during user registration. To know how to create an onboarding flow, see here. |
Login
The Login configuration are applicable only for SSO, Browser Based, High Secured, and IWS applications.
Attribute | Description |
---|---|
Remember Me | This feature adds a checkbox on the login page, allowing users to choose whether they want to remain logged in between browser restarts until their session expires. |
Login Flow | You can choose the desired login flow to be used during the login process. To know how to create an login flow, see here. |
Recovery
Attribute | Description |
---|---|
Forgot password | This option presents a link on the login page which users can click if they have forgotten their login credentials. It facilitates the process of recovering their account. |
Recovery Flow | If Forgot password is enabled, the recovery flow will be displayed and you can select the specific recovery flow you want to use for browser authentication during the account recovery process. |
Actions
The Actions configuration are applicaple only for SSO, Browser Based, High Secured, and IWS applications.

Actions | This feature allows you to assign actions to users. If an action is assigned, it will be triggered for the user; otherwise, no action will be taken. To know how to create an actions flow, see here. |
Multi-factor Authentication
Multi-factor Authentication is not applicable for IWS applications.

Social Connections
This section allows you to configure social connections for your Workspace, enabling users to use their social media accounts for authentication purposes. To know how to create an social connections, see here.
Direct Grant
Direct Grant flow is exclusively implemented for Rest API applications.

Direct Grant Flow | In the Direct Grant Flow, select the method through which it should be executed. |
5 You can configure the above fields based on your requirements. Once done, click on SAVE.
